Archery Team (grades 6-12)MORE Sports & RecreationThe NASP Archery Program provides students with the opportunity to develop focus, discipline, confidence, and teamwork through the sport of archery. Using the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) curriculum and equipment, students of all skill levels can learn proper technique, improve their accuracy, and compete in a safe and supportive environment. The program encourages personal growth, sportsmanship, and lifelong participation in archery. Registration for new participants will open on Wednesday, August 5, at 8 a.m. REGISTRATION DEADLINE Thursday, Nov. 5. Registration closes when program maximum is met. If space permits, registrations will be accepted after November 5, and a $15 late fee will be assessed. Mandatory parent meeting: November 12, 6 p.m. Fee includes a limited number of tournament entries, State entry fee, and 6 competition arrows. Nordic Ski Club (grades 6-12)MORE Sports & RecreationChase away the winter blues by getting outside right in the beautiful “backyard” of our own MHS! This recreational club is for students wishing to learn and improve in a non competitive environment. Participants will be guided in all things Nordic skiing while exploring the joys and benefits of this outdoor sport. We will take field trips to a few local, premiere ski destinations in the metro so that students can experience different nordic trails. Cost includes beanie, bussing for two field trips.
