Horse Camp (ages 8-14)Special Interests & Life SkillsGet ready to explore the world of horses with an exciting, hands-on experience based on the Spark Equestrian curriculum. At Hardwood Creek Farm, students will learn the fundamentals of horse care, from grooming and halter leading to handling reins and beginner riding commands, just like in a first riding lesson! We will finish the day with some making homemade horse treats and playing a few games! Don’t worry about the weather, we have an indoor heated arena as well as outdoor spaces. Students should come dressed for adventure: long pants, closed-toe shoes, and layers for indoor and outdoor activities. Students will also need a water bottle and a nut-free lunch.2026 Summer -
Red Cross Babysitter Training (co-ed, ages 10+)Special Interests & Life SkillsDiscover the essential universal skills and techniques every babysitter should have. This one-day certification course teaches participants to take care of themselves and others by exploring basic care of infants and children, basic first aid, emergency protocols, home safety, child behavior, developmental milestones, age-appropriate activities, professionalism, leadership and more. Safety & Self-Defense: Youth (ages 10-15)Special Interests & Life SkillsSafety is about the situation, self-awareness, and self-defense. Learn the fundamentals, effective responses to practical situations, and experience hands-on exercises. This class includes discussion on boundaries, saying 'no', de-escalation, and the importance of taking care of ourselves. We will learn the most critical elements to keep us safe and practice self-awareness. We will also punch, kick, block, yell, and more. Build a strong foundation for strength and confidence. This class is youth-focused, with a minimum age of 10 years old. Parents are welcome to watch!2026 Summer
