Middle School Athletic Teams participate in, and policies are set by, the Metro East Middle School Conference. Team sports are offered to grades 7-8 Individual sports (i.e. cross country, wrestling, track & field) are offered to grades 6-8 Students are transported to away competitions pending bus availability. Program will not meet on No School days. Fall programs will finish before the MEA break (program does NOT meet on No School days). REGISTRATION DEADLINE Wednesday, August 19. Registration closes when program maximum is met. No refunds issued after Aug. 19. If space permits, registrations will be accepted after deadline and a $15 late fee will be assessed. Work on skills, drills and techniques to prepare for weekly competitions with schools in the Metro East Middle School Conference, while also working on conditioning for winter sports. Games begin at approximately 3:45 p.m. and end around 5/5:30 p.m. Match schedules will be available at the start of the season. Matches will be played primarily on Mondays.

Learn volleyball fundamental skills and have fun while participating in drills and game-like competition. Teams formed by grade levels (3-4 and 5-6). High School Volleyball Coach Dani Wyse and players introduce specific skills weekly and lead technique drills during practices. All teams practice once a week on Thursday or Friday. Matches are played on Saturday mornings/afternoons (scheduled between 9am & 2PM) at various locations as our teams play games in a league that includes White Bear Lake, Little Canada, Oakdale, and Stillwater. Parent coaches support practice instruction led by Wyse and MHS players. Parent coaches lead their team during games.
