Students will dive into the fundamentals of casting-style fishing, students will engage in “catch and release” fishing on beautiful White Bear Lake! Fishing takes place aboard a fully upholstered pontoon with a half canopy for shade, as they visit fishing spots around the lake learning about proper technique, fish handling, and lake safety. Each pontoon will have a driver/fishing guide and is equipped with all equipment such as fishing poles, tackle, life vests, and live bait. Students who have their own gear are welcome to bring it! Please dress in weather appropriate clothing and apply sunscreen before arriving. Fishing will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather cancellations, make-up sessions are generally scheduled on Thursdays.
