Campfire Cooking (ages 10-15) - NEWCulinary ArtsStudents will take their fire skills to the next level by not only learning how to make fire and different fire structures, but the science of using fire to cook various foods! This class will teach all the basics like s’mores and tin foil packets up to more advanced skills like dutch oven baking and spit roasting over the fire. These campfire chefs will know how to make full course meals by the end of class, in addition to fire safety. We will also explore safety of foraging for ingredients as well! *There will be substitutions for dietary needs such as vegan and gluten-free for recipes. Sugar Cookie Creations (grades 6-8)Culinary ArtsGet ready to get creative in this hands-on cookie decorating class! Students will learn how to transform plain sugar cookies into eye-catching treats! Each student will decorate ten sugar cookies to take home and enjoy. We’ll explore decorating techniques using rolled marshmallow fondant and royal icing, learning how to add personality to every cookie. Unicorn Cake Decorating (completed grades 3-5)Culinary ArtsIt’s all magical, a Unicorn Cake to take home. Each student will use two 6" cakes to assemble and decorate a unicorn cake.
