Advanced students who can perform skill requirements independently - round off, bridge kick over and pull over – should enroll in advanced gymnastics. Prerequisite: Advanced Beginner or appropriate skill set. For questions about eligibility email community education at stephanie.groff@isd832.net.

Upper level beginner’s class for girls and boys in grades K-6. Learn progressions in the upper-level basic skills of tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars and springboard preparations. Students must meet the class skill requirements listed below and, if requirements are not met, will be placed in Beginners. Participants must have some gymnastics experience and meet the following skill requirements: advance cartwheel (alone), round off (alone), back walkover (light spot).

Join the MHS Gymnastics team and Varsity Coach, Debbie Driscoll, for our 6th Annual Clinic. Gymnastics team and coaches will lead a fun morning filled with gymnastics event stations and games! All skill levels welcome! Wear a leotard or tight fitting clothing for active participation. Get to know and interact with the Zephyr high school gymnastics team, one of the elite high school programs in the state. Bring a water bottle and a snack. Proceeds will go to the MHS Gymnastics Booster Club.

Participants must be 3 years old by Sept. 1 and NOT in kindergarten Learn basic body positions and body awareness as well as progression in the basic skills of tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars and springboard preparation.

Prerequisite: This is an advanced gymnastic class. These classes are open to girls completing grades 9-11, who are attending Mahtomedi schools and have the required skills to join the high school team. Girls completing 7th & 8th grade should contact Coach Driscoll for registration permission.
