Many Faces: Cultural Food Classes & Showcase (grades 6-12)

Join us for a three-part cultural cooking class and showcase for middle and high school students. Through the process, students will research, explore, and cook cultural foods and then will host a cooking showcase that will be open to community members.

This opportunity is in connection with the Many Faces Initiative and the 2023-24 theme: Many Faces, Many Tables: Connecting to Culture and Community Through Food. The mission of Many Faces, a collaboration of organizations from the greater White Bear Lake Area, is to strengthen the community by providing opportunities to listen, learn, reflect, and engage in conversations and actions that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Open to Mahtomedi Middle School & High School students
