In this course, students will learn skills like fundamental cooking basics, mailing a letter, writing a check, completing a simple job application, kitchen safety, having a phone conversation, and more! Students will build confidence in their ability to thrive as young adults.

A seasoned writer and television contributor, she has authored several ebooks and shared her culinary expertise through blogging and television appearances. Her own passion for cooking began in middle school, and recognizing the importance of cooking as a lifelong skill, she founded the Zephyr Cooking Club, providing middle school students with a welcoming space to learn, experiment, and discover joy in the kitchen.
