55+ 4-Hour Defensive Driving Class
If you are 55 or older, save money on your car insurance premiums and become a better driver! Minnesota law requires that insurance companies offer a 10% reduction on auto insurance for three years if you complete a state-approved defensive driving course taught by professional, certified instructors.
Virtual and in-person classes available. No driving or test required.
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion to provide to your insurance agent for a discount on your auto insurance!

The Minnesota Safety Council is a private, not for profit organization dedicated to preventing injuries at work, on the road, at home and at play. Our Senior Defensive Driving classes are taught by a roster of experienced traffic safety instructors, including current and former law enforcement.
