Apostle Islands Trip - NEWDay TripsJoin us September 8-10th for a trip to The Apostle Islands! On Tuesday, September 8th we will arrive in Bayfield, WI for The Apostle Islands “Grand Tour” Cruise takes you on a narrated, informative 55-mile scenic cruise. Throughout this memorable cruise, you'll pass extraordinary natural scenery, beautiful historic Raspberry Lighthouse and Devils Island Lighthouse. See standing rocks, extensive sea caves, and marine wildlife. After the cruise, we will check into the Legendary Waters Resort. The resort is built on the shores of Lake Superior with an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. It is located adjacent to the casino. Lunch and dinner are included. Wednesday, after an included breakfast, the Madeline Island Ferry will take you to the picturesque town of LaPointe on Madeline Island. It is the largest of the Apostle Islands and you will enjoy a tour of the island from a local guide. Hear about The Apostle Islands and how they were named for the twelve apostles! Then after an included lunch at the Pub Restaurant, we will visit the Madeline Island Historical Museum. In the evening, we will return to Bayfield and indulge in a tasting at the Bayfield Winery, who began fermenting their first batch of wine in the fall of 1995. This evening's (included) dinner is at Legendary Waters Resort. Thursday, after an included breakfast. we will meet a step-on-guide and hear about the historic village of Bayfield and visit one of the apple orchards. At the Old Rittenhouse Inn amidst antiques and fireplaces, you will have an included Victorian luncheon. This is a Queen Anne-style mansion restored to its original splendor with distinctive touches. Babies Drop-In & Play - Non SeparatingEarly Childhood Family Education (ECFE)Please join us on Wednesdays from 12:00-1:30 p.m. for a free baby class. This class includes activities, songs, rhymes, movement, and a caregiver discussion with a Parent Educator. This is an opportunity for free weekly baby weight checks, to connect with other new parents, ask questions, or talk about concerns, gain professional advice, laugh, cry, and talk about life with your new baby. Classes are led by a licensed parent and family educator along with guest speakers, from WIC, public health, lactation, pediatrics, early intervention, and mental health. Spend time with your little one exploring the fun activities together, and meet others with children the same age. This class is for families and their baby; please do not bring siblings. This is a drop-in class. No registration required, but it does help us be more prepared. And, best of all, it’s FREE!2026-2027 School Year -
Barre BasicsFitness & RecreationLooking for a fitness class that is fun, effective, and close to home? Barre Basics is a group exercise class being offered through Community Education. This class offers a wide variety of low-impact exercises that combine elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga and strength training. Barre focuses on engaging specific muscles until they reach fatigue, followed by stretching to create long, lean, and toned muscles. Barre is a great way to build total body strength, improve flexibility, and relieve stress. This class is open to all fitness levels, with modifications available to help you safely perform exercises. Please bring a yoga mat, resistance band, and a light set of hand weights (2 lb or similar). Sticky/grip socks are also recommended. *Please note: This class is held on Wednesdays except for 6/9 and 7/21, which are on Tuesdays.2026 Summer -
