Building on what children have learned from their parents as their first teachers, mahtomedi Area Preschool (MAP) helps prepare them for the world of kindergarten. MAP takes 3-5 year-olds through daily activities that strengthen social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Preschoolers may only be registered for ONE preschool class. Monthly tuition is processed via auto-pay on the first business day of each month. Cancellation midyear requires a 2-week written notice and a $50 fee. If you cancel between June 30 and July 31, 2026, a $75 cancellation fee will be charged. Mahtomedi Adventure Club (MAC) is an affordable school age care program serving students kindergarten to grade 5 during the school year, and completed kindergarten to grade 6 in the summer. MAC provides a safe, fun, and enriching home base, where all leisure time is in a constructive and enriching environment. Registration Info: Registration is first come, first serve. Enrollment is based on staffing and space. Summer MAC - Registration is the 3rd Wednesday of February starting at 8:00 a.m. School Year MAC*** - Registration is the 3rd Wednesday of May starting at 8:00 a.m. ***MAC is available on all student contact days during the school year other than district holidays and winter break, MAC offers its Non-School Day program for an additional fee.
