Building on what children have learned from their parents as their first teachers, mahtomedi Area Preschool (MAP) helps prepare them for the world of kindergarten. MAP takes 3-5 year-olds through daily activities that strengthen social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Math, language, and literacy skills are sharpened in MAP, as is self-regulation. Along the way, children further develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking abilities. Once you complete the online registration, you will be put on a “pending approval status” in the order the registration is received. Your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee until your child is confirmed in the program. To ensure timely processing, please submit all required documents within ten business days of your time-stamped registration. Incomplete registrations after this timeframe will be placed at the end of the enrollment queue. You will not be confirmed in the program until ALL Required Forms are received. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged the registration fee. Annual preschool registration requires a non-refundable fee of $80. After registrations meet the maximum number, additional registrations go onto the waitlist and if space becomes available, you will be notified. Preschoolers may only be registered for ONE preschool class. Monthly tuition is processed via auto-pay on the first business day of each month. Mahtomedi Adventure Club (MAC) is an affordable school age care program serving students kindergarten to grade 5 during the school year, and completed kindergarten to grade 6 in the summer. MAC provides a safe, fun, and enriching home base, where all leisure time is in a constructive and enriching environment. Registration Info: Registration is first come, first serve. Enrollment is based on staffing and space. Summer MAC - Registration is the 3rd Wednesday of February starting at 8:00 a.m. School Year MAC*** - Registration is the 3rd Wednesday of May starting at 8:00 a.m. ***MAC is available on all student contact days during the school year other than district holidays and winter break, MAC offers its Non-School Day program for an additional fee.
